Senior Industry Operating Executive – Medtech
Chris is a Senior Industry Operating Executive at CMD Global Partners, where he counsels management teams and investors on operating strategy, market positioning and growth planning across medtech. Chris brings an entrepreneur’s lens to diligence and value creation, drawing on direct operating experience to pressure-test commercial assumptions, sharpen go-to-market plans, and identify levers to enhance enterprise value.
Chris brings over two decades of experience building, recapitalizing, scaling and exiting medical device and surgical technology businesses, with deep operating and transaction expertise across implants, enabling technologies, distribution and robotics.
Prior to joining CMD, Chris was CEO and Co-Founder of Accelus, Inc. He formed Accelus in 2021 by merging Fusion Robotics with Integrity Implants, the company he created in 2016 through a recapitalization of distressed start-up Ouroboros. Under his leadership, Accelus grew into a 150-person, public-ready organization spanning implants, enabling technology and robotics. Chris launched the FlareHawk expandable spinal fusion cage platform, which placed more than 20,000 implants across 28+ countries, secured CE mark approval and achieved access at more than 4,000 hospitals and 8 national GPOs. During his tenure he raised more than $100 million in equity capital and oversaw the 2023 sale of the Remi robotic system to Alphatec at 17x revenue and a 68% return on capital.
Earlier in his career, Chris founded and led Integrity Medical, Inc., the first exclusive NuVasive distributor in Florida, which he grew to approximately $60 million in annual revenue with 35% EBITDA margins. Chris began his career as a Sales Representative at Stryker Corporation, where he was a six-time Chairman’s Club winner.
Chris is named across 39 patent families covering implants, robotics and enabling technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Florida. Chris resides in Jupiter, FL where he is an avid fisherman, experienced golfer and family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
