Conor is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of CMD Global Partners, leading the firm’s European practice from Dublin. With over two decades in capital markets and private equity, Conor anchors CMD’s trans-Atlantic execution capability, advising clients on cross-border M&A and capital raises where European reach and U.S. market access intersect.
His sector focus spans healthcare, engineering & business services and packaging, with particular depth advising founder-led and family-owned businesses navigating ownership transitions, whether through majority recapitalizations, growth equity partnerships, or full sale processes. Conor brings the dual perspective of a former principal investor and seasoned advisor, allowing him to architect transactions that align long-term shareholder objectives with institutional capital requirements.
Prior to co-founding CMD, Conor was a Managing Director at XMS Capital Partners, where he led European coverage and trans-Atlantic execution. Before XMS, he co-founded an Irish private equity firm that raised and deployed €350 million of equity, primarily in real asset transactions. Conor began his career in Equity Capital Markets at Deutsche Bank in London (2001 to 2005), advising pan-European hedge funds and institutional investors.
Conor holds an MBS in Strategic Management from the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School (University College Dublin) and a BSc in Finance from University College Cork.
